Description
Designed by British designer, Sarah Smith, this attractive fair trade cotton apron is both strong and durable. It is so pretty that it needs to be worn all the time even in the kitchen. There are adjustable ties at the neck and waist and a pocket at the front. The great thing about the cotton is that it can be washed and comes up looking like new.
100% Fair Trade certified GM and pesticide free cotton grown in Mali, Africa by a Fair Trade cooperative. The cotton is woven, printed and manufactured in Europe.
In Mali, farmer members for 2006/07 received a guaranteed Fairtrade minimum farm gate price of 69% higher than the national base price, in addition the co-operative receives the Fairtrade premium to invest in community development projects such as schools.
Machine washable at 40 degrees C.
